Exceptionally comfortable bed in a beautifully decorated room. The location in Montmartre is perfect, right across from the Metro. Loved the espresso from the coffee facilities. The shower was fantastic too. A good boutique experience.

Location close to Montmartre and very close to Metro. Newly renovated. Helpfull staff. Free and good WIFI.
Size of rooms are too small. I have stayed in many hotels in Paris and I know they can be small but this is the smallest room I have ever tried - and it is TOO small. There is no place for luggage except on the floor. 2 adults will develop claustrofobia in these rooms. Very noisy in the late night and early morning during weekends if you choose room towards the street due to loud music from parties. Breakfast room is too small. Very difficult to get in and out at the table when all tables are occupied.

the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room itself was pretty nice.

Art Deco style interior, unique shower experience, proximity to Moulin Rouge
Very small rooms!!! Noisy surroundings make it difficult to sleep well!!! Limited amenities leave guests wanting more entertainment options!!! Poor lighting in rooms detracts from the evening ambiance!!!

The room was spotless and beautifully fitted out, and in a great location for exploring the local area. THe air con worked and kept the room at a really nice temperature. My husband loved it.
Although we paid for a delux room, it was tiny; barely bigger than the bed. The pictures on the webiste are very misleading. We were given one little tube of shower gel/shampoo for three days between two of us which was not replaced when it was used. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. I was woken up at around 4am and kept awake by very noisy, excitable, shouted conversations which went on for a couple of hours so I got very little sleep. The hotel is right next to the red light district which perhaps explained it. I think for the 225 euros a night we paid we could have done better.

The Hotel is very small and in the heart of Montmatre, looked like it was family run. The staff were pleasant and quick to recommend things to do. Overall the hotel and rooms were clean - only had 1 night here as I was passing through Paris
The rooms are very small (not unusual in Paris).

The location near the Moulin Rouge was fantastic, just a short walk away. Room setup in the Junior Suite suited our family perfectly, providing ample space. Staff showed genuine effort to assist us, even allowing us to leave our luggage for the day. The extra bed provided was disappointingly soft was great. Service at the front desk felt inconsistent. The reception staff were not very cute, disheartening. Amid these issues, the cleanliness of our room stood out as a significant positive.

Very neat albeit smallish rooms (size similar to most hotels in Paris). Location is very handy for accessing the Paris metro and there is certain attraction in being just around the corner of the Moulin Rouge, although the rest of the Pigalle neighborhood is not very enjoyable. And it's just a short walk to very nice restaurants up on the Montmartre.

I recommend Hotel Le Squara to anyone, a superb experience.
if you are on the street side it can get noisy due a night club that closes at 3AM...

As I'd expected from reading other reviews, the hotel staff was very friendly and spoke English. The rooms were indeed very small, but that is not unusual in Paris, and most important for me the rooms were very clean too. The hotel is well-situated, with a metro stop only a few meters from the hotel and the area is lively in the evenings with plenty of locals and tourists, both French and foreign, on the streets. One review had complained about noise from a nearby nightclub, but I did not hear any outside noise at night and slept very well.

I had an good stay! The Art Deco style interior was fine. Plus, being just steps away from the Blanche Metro station allowed for easy exploration of all the local cafes and attractions in the vibrant area.
